Halo 3 Planet

A brand new [tag]Halo 3[/tag] Video has surfaced showing off a new Multiplayer map called “Guardian”… a map most consider to be inspired by the [tag]Halo 2[/tag] map “Lockout”. This seems to be like a leaked video from some gaming convention (The Tags on the videos indicate PAX 07). Regardless, the content is great, and definitely worth a watch. You’ll get too see one of the creepiest maps we’ve ever seen in a [tag]Halo[/tag] game, plus some action from the new energy sword, and incendiary grenade.

We also were able to sight the use of the Fuel Rod Gun in this video, The Plasma Cannon, as well as the Flame Thrower. Who’s getting excited for Halo 3 now?

Also, we kind of wish that some decent players would start being in these videos. These are great, but the players just are not that good. But hey… for over 10 minutes of preview goodness… who’s to complain, right?

As mentioned earlier, the [tag]Halo[/tag] [tag]Wars[/tag] E3 Demo is now available for download on the [tag]Xbox[/tag] Live Marketplace!  You can start downloading it immediately if you have [tag]Xbox Live[/tag], or you can also download it directly from the [tag]Halo Wars[/tag] Official Website.

This guided tour through 10 minutes of play time really gives us an excellent look at what Ensemble Studios has in store for us come 2008.  With the end of the Halo Trilogy so close at hand, this is some refreshing news for the Halo Nation!

According to ComputerandVideoGames.com, a [tag]Halo Wars[/tag] Video Demonstration will be available on the [tag]Xbox[/tag] Live Marketplace sometime today.  For those of you looking to get a glimpse of the [tag]RTS[/tag] due for release next year, here is your chance!

The video demonstration will consist of gameplay from the recent E3 and Leipzig demos, complete with commentary from the dev team. If you haven’t seen it, the short preview consists of a massive UNSC base and a skirmish with an army of Covenant forces - complete with hulking Scarab walker.

Looks juicy!  We’re looking forward to this video!  Chances are, it will be on the internetz sometime soon if you can’t get onto the XBL Marketplace.

Apparently, the 2nd [tag]Halo[/tag] short film put together by [tag]Neil Blomkamp[/tag] has already been shown at the [tag]Leipzig Gamecon[/tag] 2007. Participants of the gaming convention managed to snag some shaky cam versions of the film being played.

H.B.O found a version of the video on Gamersyde and we’re keeping our eyes peeled for a higher quality version. We hope that[tag]Bungie[/tag] will soon share the Hi-Def version on their website for public viewing.
