Halo 3 Planet

Fog Skull Location Revealed

The Fog Skull Location / Effect page is still being updated, as [tag]Halo 3[/tag] was finally released to the masses today, and it’s going to take a day or two to get all of the skulls online, but I’d like to go ahead and reveal the location to the most coveted of the Golden Skulls.

The Fog Skull Location.

If you have trouble finding the skulls, be sure to come back tomorrow, as we’ll have much more of them posted for everyone to see.  Happy Hunting!

My Armor Permutations

Yeah, the new [tag]Halo 3[/tag] Armor Permutations are hardcore:

[They’ve changed, I got rid of the photo :P]

It’s launch night! Who’s Ready!?

Halo 3 Skull Locations coming soon

I’d like to inform our viewers that we plan to have a comprehensive list of all of the [tag]Halo[/tag] 3 Skull Locations… hopefully by the time the game releases on September 25th. We’d like to hold the information off until the game is actually released, just so that we are responsible for any Pre-release spoilers.

We managed to grab a few copies of the game early on, and have been spending a lot of our time finding various Halo 3 Easter Eggs, as well as the skulls (which play into the meta games of Halo 3’s campaign). Using skulls will now multiply your score in the meta games, making it easier (although we use this term very loosely) to achieve specific score achievements.

Free Pass for 2, Halo 3 Premiere IMax in London

We are giving away a free pass to the [tag]Halo 3[/tag] Premiere in London to any of our visitors from the UK! Just let us know if you’re interested in going, and we’ll randomly select a winner!

We mentioned this contest a while back and we ended up winning a ticket for ourselves. Fortunately for you, we are not going to be able to attend this night, which is why we are giving our seat, and a seat for a guest away.

Let us know if you want these passes! We need to know very soon!

Bungie’s Blue Filters to hit the B.net store soon!

From [tag]Bungie[/tag].net:

One of the many bonus features shipping in Halo 3’s Limited and Legendary Editions is the Audio/Video Calibration tool. While it’s not remotely necessary for an enjoyable Halo 3 experience, those who want to fine tune their visual calibration will want to pick up the Blue Filter. We’re planning on making these filters available in the Bungie Store as soon as possible and at minimal cost to consumers. When they are available and/or we have more details about their availability, we’ll update you here at Bungie.net.

This blue filter (or a similar one) can alternatively bought by some photo retailers according to some [tag]Halo[/tag] fans.  The blue filter is no an essential item, but along with the AV Calibration tool that comes with the Limited and Legendary Edition, it supposedly will make for an even BETTER playing experience.

We’ll update you when the Bungie Blue Filters get to the online store.
