Some [tag]Halo[/tag] fans found a really strange glitch in Forge recently. Fogfun13 from our Forums shares with us that players are able to play as the Monitor on at least one map (Narrows) with weapons. You can fly around the map, picking up weapons (and shooting them).
It seems like a pretty serious bug, and does require quite a bit of work simply to activate the glitch. The steps have been posted on Bungie.net, along with some screenshots of the glitch in action.
So far, its only been confirmed on narrows. Here’s how to do it. First, you need to enter forge w/ someone who has laggy connection. Then, you must killn yourself by doing the following. Delete everything in the map including the respawn points. Put one respawn point anywhere and put all but one fusion coil around it. have someone hold the fusion coil, and when they drop it, shoot it. this will cause the neverending explosion thingy. we recomend you add crates too(they seem to help the explosion. now, this will sorta overload the map. YOU KILL YOURSELF IN THE EXPLOSION. other wise it wont work. While the respawn timer is on, the person with the laggy connection must leave game. this should birng up a black screen. If everything is done correctly, when you respawn, you shouldn’t seen your weapon, andshould be able to fly. you can pick up weapons, but you cant see them. when ppl look at you they see the monitor. Holding guns. this works for all weapons even the flame. we have not tried the missle pod or machine gun yet though.
we will try more maps, other weapons, and put up some videos asap.

Yeah, about the security shoulders and helmet, Its happened to me before, it sometimes works if you change your character to the elite and then change back to the sparten.

to Ken at the 36th post, first off, you read the terminal for a while then it goes red, once it deoso that, wait for at least one minute, if nothing happens then there is a problem with your gameif not, the screen should start moving so fast that the backround blurs, wait….wait…..wait, then extra diolouge should appear, read all of that, then do it for every terminal in the game

i accessed every terminal in the game. not including the cortana one. but on this web site it says it doesn’t count to the acheivement. at first the achievement didn’t come up, so i had to fid them all over again. i still dont have the achievement. and also. the cortana terminal..the disription needs to be a lot better. if anyone can help me with the terminals. please help me.

Yeah, I got the killing frenzy acheivement but i dont have the commando shoulders. One of my friends says if you contact bungie and tell them it’s still locked, they will search your profile to see if you have the acheivement and then give it to you. I just need to know how to contact bungie somehow, either by phone or by email.

i accidentally did this glitch a really long time ago on sandtrap i lagged out and then i could carry weapons…

Hay, im a player on halo3. Just to answer your question. Some people have glitches with the security armour. My mate didnt get them, theres no way to fix it. so sorry about that. and the gamertag thing. i have had that happen to me, i replayed ledgendery and it then reconised i had played it. So you might have to do it again. But unluky mate, its not normal to have both problems.

i have more than 800 gamerscore points on just halo 3, and i didn’t even get the security shoulders, can anyone fix that?? i also completed campaign on legendary and at my service record it only says that i completed campaign on normal, my gamertag is dmilla753 and i wanna know how to fix it?
