Get Your Rec-on!
At least a few of our members predicted this would happen, but it wasn’t until today that we could confirm it (thanks for the heads up HaloHero). Bungie has started to give away sets of armor that are typically only usable by the Bungie Team. Starting today, they’ve given out two Recon Armor Sets.
Oh, folks are begging us for the Recon Armor perm, and we’re giving it out to a couple of community members today as a special treat:
ZB Shogun for suffering the most humiliating traffic accident ever:
and…
Skyllus vBi for shooting himself in the head with his own Sniper Rifle.
These videos have been floating around the internet for about a week, so you may have already seen these somewhat hilarious suicides. Bungie will continue to give out the Recon (and possible other armor permutations) to players who stick out in the future. They just ask that you don’t message them about it.
This seems like a really great way of promoting their video and screenshot feature in [tag]Halo[/tag] 3’s Theater mode. People are just dieing to get their hands on this armor.

OK for anyone that wants the recon armor just contact me and I can give it to you but it requires a lot of effort and you also get 4000 microstoft game pionts. So don’t hessatate I’m pretty social and I’m Canadian!!!

hey i have been hunting down all these different bungie members since ive heard about the recon. so far i have found six of them but 2 turned me down on me asking a simple question. i heard that you haved to immpress them by showing them sumthing cool and i have got the video to show but none of the bungie members will watch it. i need some tips plzzz. keep fraggin um. Hey i’m just a little kid in 4th grade but ever since i’ve heard about the recon ive been trying to get it but me and my friend armigeton made a crazy video n halo 3 and also don’t bug bungie bcause somtimes it will get really annoying so don’t push your luck also my gamertag on xbox live is fratboi56778.

i have also got the katana sword with all the acievments 1000/1000 gs (ambiangel)
just woundering how come you dont get anything on the elite when you got all of the acievments….?

me and my brother (me)(ambiangel)(brother)(spaceelite) have been trying to find the recon helmet since we herd of it and this one guy said you need to be a bungie player but we cannot because we are to young so i have been looking for it diffrent ways thanks for reading ambiangel and spaceelite
P.S love the game ambiangel is a commander going to be a connel and my bother is a luitenent grade 2………but we can go up more….me and my brother ……..LOVE BUNGIE AND THERE GAMES….!!!!!

i been look for two weeks strait and thats the only way to get it some poeple say you half to beat the game on lengudary with all the skulls turn on with out dieing and some other people you half to be on lone wolf on xbox live and win the game with a empty pistol and gernades only
