I log into halo just fine, it’s when i join a matchmaking game. it loads all the people correctly and map, but when veto option is about to begin it changes the map and starting wepons everytime, then instantly disconnects me. Whats going on? Is it my disk?

a 50′ ethernet cable wouldn’t induce more lag.
The difference would be so miniscule no one could tell.
I’m running on a 60 footer, and there is no difference between it, and when I’m 3 feet away from the router with a 10 foot cable.
Information travels at well the speed of light.

Well a 50ft ethernet cable will just make you lag a bit. Since it is such a long cable, data tranfer will take too long. You might want to invest in a wireless connector that you can get on ebay for about $10 versus $100 in the stores. All you need is a credit card or an active checking aaccount and it can all be done on your system console. No need to go to websites or make phone calls, unless you really need to. OH and don’t forget you also need a high speed internet. If you go wireless, make sure you have a wireless router that has a seal on the box that says “approved for xbox live” and a wireless connector to your xbox.
