i agree with kyle the GI-joe movie looks amazingly crappy, they should have the guy who directed transformers then it would be freakin’ sweet. and yes it will be expensive but who cares it will probly make ten times more money then it cost. (on a side note) i thought there was only five books by eric nylud anyway.

Halo is amazing i own all six books all games that are out now. But has anybody seen the preview for G.I Joe it looks extremley horrible and fake! If that guy is the screen writer they are just setting it up to fail.

I agree. They should make a ‘Halo’ movie. The only thing that worries me is if they can pull it off. They would need a REALLY good director and they can’t ruin it with a horrible plot. I’ve always wanted to write a ‘Halo’ movie and direct it but that won’t happen for another six years. I personally think Bungie should hold a contest. A contest that allows ‘Halo’ fans to come up with what they think would make a good movie. Then they should choose, like, the top three and pay them to use their stories. All of which should be loosley based around Falll of Reach. That’s just my opinion. Do you agree?

I see that this is a great step forward. I think the right idea is not to make a movie adaption of the game, but dive into what happen before the game. I think that including Master Chief, the story should include parts from Contact Harverst and go into detail with Sgt. Johnson, since he is a recognizable character from the series. It would be nice to include background on Captain Keyes, since he plays a pivotal role in the first game. And yes, the movie would be pretty expensive and would have include CGI, but I can see some of the landscapes as being real world sets, like maybe filming Harvest in the Midwest. Just a thought.

Okay, Jordan. You do have a good point. The movie would be freakin’ expensive. Nevertheless, it is better to start off with Beattie’s “Fall of Reach” script instead of Garland’s “Combat Evolved” script. That is one of the reasons why the first movie didnt make it, it had to much CGI.
