Want to get [tag]Halo 3[/tag] before all your friends? Well, it’s possible, but is it worth $1000?

A week or so ago, we saw a few PAL copies of the game go on Ebay for less than $200, but now there is a new auction up with the buy it now price set to $1000. The starting bid is $150.

No proof of authenticity, so we are skeptical. We’ll look into it a bit more to see if this is for real.

Fans everywhere were disappointed when Gamestop stopped taking orders for the Legendary edition of Microsoft’s [tag]Halo 3[/tag].  Luckily, today they started taking pre-orders again (thanks for the heads up qj.xbox360.net).
