Halo 3 Makes September Wired Magazine Cover Page

According to Major Nelson, Wired Magazine September Issue features a Halo 3 article going into depths on how [tag]Bungie[/tag] is testing the gameplay in their newest project, [tag]Halo 3[/tag].

We will be sure to post a link to the article when it hits the internetz on Wired’s website, but until then, you can go show some appreciation to the folks at the Unfiction Forums who have happily shared some pictures from the magazine!

The Wired Halo 3 Magazine Article in now available!
This one looks like it’s worth a read ;)

Also, if you examine the cover closely, you’ll notice some easter eggs thrown around. Here is what we have found:

  • The IP to the “Society of the Ancient” Website used in the Halo 3 [tag]ARG[/tag] ([tag]IRIS[/tag])
  • “343″ – undoubtedly a reference to 343 Guilty Spark from [tag]Halo[/tag] 1
  • 2552 – The year all of these events take place
  • The Phone Number to the “Flood Containment Control”, another element from the Halo 3 [tag]Alternate Reality Game[/tag]
  • “117″ – Spartan-117 is the main character in the Halo series
  • Installation 05 is one of the Halo ring worlds
  • Mark VI – the armor the [tag]Master Chief[/tag] Uses

See anything we missed?
